Jason has a joint honours degree in Psychology and Theology (Surrey University) and is a qualified teacher with a decade and a half’s experience teaching Social Science and Humanities, alongside extra pastoral and leadership roles. He is a trained Pastor (under VCUKI) and with his wife he planted and led West Wilts Vineyard Church for two decades before guiding the Church through a successful leadership transition. Jason has a Post Graduate Certificate in Occupational Psychology from the University of the West of England and completed his professional training as a spiritual director with Sustainable Faith in conjunction with VCUKI. Currently he is completing his training to guide people through the Ignatian exercises. Jason works in spiritual direction with (primarily) men from the USA, Armenia, Holland, America, France, Africa, Scotland, Wales, Ireland and England, whilst overseeing a growing number of mens outdoor retreats. In addition he preaches and speaks at leaders gatherings, churches and events typically focussed on spiritual formation. Jason is happily married and has two young adult children, working in the performing arts and psychology. Outside of work Jason is a semi professional musician, songwriter, footballer, gym goer, avid film watcher, Systema 'instructor in training', walker and passionate advocate for the great outdoors.
